Job Functions (Responsibilities, Duties, Accountabilities)

1. Remove the existing windows, and assist with the installation of the new windows in accordance with AAMA and IWA standards
2. Window installation will include the use of foam in the perimeter gaps, installation of interior and the exterior trims, caulking of the interior / exterior and the removal of the manufacturers stickers and glue
3. Utilize cloth drop cloths on the floors and plastic drop cloths on the furniture
4. Remove all debris from the job site
5. When directed by supervisor, demonstrate the workings of the windows and locks
6. If directed by supervisor, collect final and full payment
7. If directed by supervisor, complete the AVW “green sheets” and billing paperwork completely and accurately at the end of each install
8. Canvas the local area, street and area for leads
9. All lead sheets will be turned in with the crew pack upon completion of the installation
10. Position will be paid on an hourly basis
11. Complete and fill out a time sheet on a daily basis, recording the beginning and ending of each work period. All information on the time sheet must be filled in, signed and dated
12. Time in and time out for meal breaks (for a minimum of 30 minutes) are to be recorded on
    the time sheet. This position requires you work six (6) days a week, if applicable.
13. Break Periods – (2) Two – ten (10) minute rest breaks can be taken anytime during the work period. Break times do not need to be recorded on the time sheets.
14. Time sheets must be reviewed and initialed by your supervisor at the end of each day
15. Any and all overtime is to be approved by your Crew Chief and /or Field Superintendents
16. Completed time sheets need to be turned into the office every Thursday (turn in day may change based on holiday schedule)
17. Comply with all safety practices
18. Pursue and attend training (provided by AVW) classes for AAMA certification and become certified by AAMA within a (2) two year period

Position Overview

American Vision Baths is employee owned and one of the largest home remodeling contractors in California with 26 years of experience providing in home solutions for homeowners.

Bath installer with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in installing baths, showers, and walk-in tubs. Must have experience with Kohler and hard surface products. Plumbing and electrical experience are a must.

Additionally, the desired applicant must have the following experience:

• Outstanding customer service skills when engaging with customers.
• Protect the customer’s home with tarps and plastic to ensure the smallest customer disruption.
• Complete demo down to the studs
• Ensure the integrity of the walls and flooring.
• Removal and disposal of all existing shower/tub products
• Install a new green board around the entire wet area.
• Install all customer selected products based on customer preferences.
• Expert in installing all aspects of a new shower or bath including installing new green board, plumbing, valves, trim sets, shower glass enclosures, and accessories.
• All installations will be in a manner that follows American Vision Baths processes and procedures.
• Follow all safety practices and equipment.
• Complete quality control inspection daily
• Inventory skills and staging new jobs to ensure all products have been received.
• Responsible for all products from the warehouse to home
• Skilled in training, mentoring, and instructing an assistant.
• Collect any money and get finance paperwork signed on completion of each.
• Problem-solving skills are a must.
• Pick up materials from local supply houses and factories as needed.
• Having your own tools & vehicle is a PLUS but not a requirement.
• MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
