What You’ll Do

• Make outbound calls to customers who’ve shown interest online — no cold calling strangers!
• Be the first friendly voice customers hear, answering questions and scheduling appointments!
• Deliver exceptional service that leaves customers excited to work with us
• Accurately document calls and customer needs
• Work closely with a team that supports and encourages your growth

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine passion for helping people
• Positive, energetic, can-do attitude (smiles can be heard over the phone!)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable setting goals and holding yourself accountable
• Prior customer service or call center experience preferred (but not required — we’ll train the right person!)
• Tech savvy: typing, navigating multiple screens, and experience with MS Word/Excel or Salesforce a plus
• Coachable, with a growth mindset

Compensation & Perks

Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Apprentice Installers to help with the removal and installation of baths. This is an excellent opportunity to enter the construction industry and develop valuable skills while earning competitive wages.

Key Responsibilities

• Help experienced installers with tub and shower removal and installation.
• Use power tools safely and effectively.
• Take exact measurements and perform quality installations.
• Maintain clean and organized job sites.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift 100 lbs. regularly.
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Punctual and professional demeanor
• Team-oriented attitude
• Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check.

Preferred Experience

• Earlier experience with power tools
• Basic construction or installation experience
• Understanding of measurement and fitting processes
• General maintenance and repair skills

Job description

American Vision Baths is employee owned and one of the largest home remodeling contractors in California with 26 years of experience providing in home solutions for homeowners.

Bath installer with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in installing baths, showers, and walk-in tubs. Must have experience with Kohler and hard surface products. Plumbing and electrical experience are a must.

Additionally, the desired applicant must have the following experience:

• Outstanding customer service skills when engaging with customers.
• Protect the customer’s home with tarps and plastic to ensure the smallest customer disruption.
• Complete demo down to the studs
• Ensure the integrity of the walls and flooring.
• Removal and disposal of all existing shower/tub products
• Install a new green board around the entire wet area.
• Install all customer selected products based on customer preferences.
• Expert in installing all aspects of a new shower or bath including installing new green board, plumbing, valves, trim sets, shower glass enclosures, and accessories.
• All installations will be in a manner that follows American Vision Baths processes and procedures.
• Follow all safety practices and equipment.
• Complete quality control inspection daily
• Inventory skills and staging new jobs to ensure all products have been received.
• Responsible for all products from the warehouse to home
• Skilled in training, mentoring, and instructing an assistant.
• Collect any money and get finance paperwork signed on completion of each.
• Problem-solving skills are a must.
• Pick up materials from local supply houses and factories as needed.
• Having your own tools & vehicle is a PLUS but not a requirement.
• MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
